Post Re: Boxing
I used to be. Family life, both from available time and with competing interests for television viewing choices has very much diminished my exposure. I am not familiar with the current competitors at all right now. On very rare occasions I have seen the Friday night fights on ESPN. I think, as my kids move into teen years and spend less time around the house, that I'll get back into it more in the coming years.

Cool. I mostly asked in the context of a big British fight between Carl Froch and George Groves on the 31st of May.

Froch's wife is crazy hot, but she needs to quiet down. Or not sit so close to the microphones.

looking forward to Golovkin-Chavez Jr. in July.

I certainly did. And yep, it was an epic crowd.

After the last fight they had (which I and many others though the younger, slicker, more talented Groves won and was stopped unfairly) I was expecting Groves to win this.

BUT, it's easy to forget, Boxing for all its techniques and theories is mainly about cold brutality. And Froch, despite his advancing age and lack of finesse, has violence in spades.

Watch his demolishing of Jermaine Taylor as evidence.
