Post Re: Morality
I never said I would prefer to use the word n***** than black. I personally would prefer to use words with less syllables. I'm saying no one has the right to tell anyone what words he/she can or can't use. I've changed my mind by the way. My last post was my last post, this is my VERY last post, on this thread. To everyone, look at the last 15 minutes of George Carlin's Doin' it Again show. He gets my point across much better than I can.

I'll be honest, I know forumgoers aren't necessarily discriminating in terms of threads to post in, but the length of this thread still stupifies me. It's so much less than what the title implies.

Morality is essential for human survival. However, it is a common misconception that there would be no morals without religion. In the matter of spirituality and morals that can walk hand-in-hand with logic and reason, I suggest buying and studying the Jefferson bible.

This has to be one of the more confusing threads I've read on any forum

It may be that I'm just not able to grasp it

So, to quote my VC, what's the elevator pitch JB007?

Can you explain in a few sentences what it is you're interested in?

I see circular, inconsistent, illogical and contradictory arguments here

Having just read through this thread, I think it's about the typically juvenile act of rebelling against societal conventions for no reason other than to have something to rebel against.

Yeah. Sometimes you just need to accept what is, and move on... just accept that some things aren't worth it.

For me it's simple: Don't try and hurt others (that includes trying to tell others what to do, how to do things, what to believe, what not to believe, ect) and you'll be fine.
