That's not actually true though. The founding fathers enumerated many specific rights (e.g. habeas corpus) that are clearly not provided by God. Not many. Most of those rights enumerated are assumed to be natural rights for which it is stated that the government will not restrict, habeas corpus not withstanding. And while the Declaration of Independence is not law, it clearly states that the founders thought of rights as provided by God or nature.

Somewhat. Most of the original articles are not rights given to citizens, but are prohibitions placed upon the state so as not to restrict the natural rights of the citizens. Article IX points out that the state may not create restrictions on a citizens rights simply because such a restriction wasn't (isn't) among the enumerated.
