 General Forum Wishlist 2012And what would you like to receive?
I'm quietly hoping for a copy of the recently-released Summer movies from Bergman. That'd be neat. That's about it as far as movies go. I still think Chris Ware's Building Stories looks pretty cool but I'd never buy it. _________________ Which are you drinking? The water or the wave? |

Re: General Forum Wishlist 2012 My main guitar may be totaled. It is in need of a small yet crucial fix that has thus far defied every DIY solution I've thrown at it. The repair it may need is much more invasive and the cost of labor would be prohibitive. In that case, I suppose a new guitar would be at the top of my wishlist. My tastes aren't expensive, so getting a new one would certainly beat the price of repairing the one I have now.
Other than that, bring me a New York style pizza and a six pack of Great Lakes Eliot Ness and I'm sound as a pound. _________________ The temptation is to like what you should like--not what you do like... another temptation is to come up with an interesting reason for liking it that may not actually be the reason you like it. |

Re: General Forum Wishlist 2012 Moving into a new house next year, and wouldn't mind picking up some Mondo movie posters to hang around the place. Just picked up the Reservoir Dogs one at the last sale, and hope to get some more in the near future.

A job is the easy part. A well paid job - just a little harder. That broken air guitar is a serious problem though. Happened to my air drums a while ago. The problem with air instruments is that they only exist when you play them - then they instantly zap back into the 11th dimension until you play them again. You need a good air guitar technician and keep on playig while he repairs/services it. Of course you could always chose a new air guitar. That would save you a lot of hassle. Now about my wish: keeping my common sense and my sane and down-to-earth mentality.  |
