corpen, do you have a creative outlet?

writing, drawing, singing, an instrument, a hobby, anything?

Try venting your frustrations by creating something.

Yesterday, a counselor said the same thing. Watching movies and walking outside is good for my health.

Glad to hear you got to talk to someone face-to-face corpen. It does help. Keeping that shit inside builds, man...and when you explode, it's not a good thing. Better to vent and do things you enjoy. You know this dude.

I'm currently trying to take my own advice.

Looking back, I'm glad that I was taken out of class. I could have easily exploded in front of my teacher and classmates and the scene would have been real ugly. At three today, I'm meeting with my counselor to find out about my emotions. I give my thanks to everyone for the kind words and advice. to quote the final verse of Papa Roach's "To Be Loved:" I just wanna be, wanna be loved."

Yeah talking to someone really helps, maybe you should talk to your parents about seeing a therapist. I regularly saw therapists back in my high school(it wasn't just me, it was one of those special high schools where all the kids had mental problems, some moreso then others, so everyone was assigned a therapist for weekly sessions throughout the year, I was one of the most normal people there actually) and they all really helped me out, I could talk to them about pretty much anything I wanted and I had ALOT of stuff to get off my chest so that was a relief, I actually felt more comfortable talking to them about alot of things then I did to my own parents(that's mainly because the therapists were all pretty young, so they understood me better).

The reason I used those lyrics is that the song was used as the theme for WWE's Raw.

Over the past week, I've had feeling of sadness and anger; it almost feels like I want to get into a fight to express myself and relieve my anger. I reaaly haven't talked to may people over the past 4-5 weeks and I'm beginning to feel lonely.

I went through an angry at the world phase between the ages of 22-26. Immature I know. I felt as if I had been living in a cocoon where I lived my life based on what other people wanted me to do and I grew sick of it. That, combined with some personal problems I was going thrugh led me to going through a sort of nihilistic phase in which I dropped out of school and pretty much shut myself off from the world as much as I could (with a few exceptions). Basically I built a wall between myself and the world (just like that Pink Floyd album) and didn't tear it down until a few years later.

Corpen I don't know how old you are. But it sounds like you're going through something very similar to what I went through. We spend all of adolescence and most adulthood doing what we're told, then we're in a position where we HAVE to think for ourselves.

One piece of advice I can give: Don't let that wall build up like I did. If it means cocoooning yourself with a small number of true friends or family members do it.

Just came back from my meeting with my counselor and it was good telling him about my issues and the causes that lead to my emotional issues. Therapy is good for the body and it felt as if a great weight has lifted from the shoulders. In two weeks, we'll meet again to discuss how I can build relationships (with people not online).

P.S. I love you on Reelviews and will continue to stay here. I'm 19 years old.

Good to hear that you're finally getting some help. It really does work.

I have my bouts of depression, and it really does help to talk to someone. You're in college, so you're paying for these services. Use them. They get really expensive once you get out.

Some of the posts on this thread are quite funny.

I assumed adultfriendfinder was for guys who were desperate to have sex with a likely transvestite.

Smoking weed will certainly help. But its obviously not a permanent fix. And if you're tight on money, it isn't the best alternative.

I also doubt he's into meeting up with a child molester. Any "friend meeting" site that advertises heavily on porn websites isn't a good idea.

DO NOT SMOKE WEED

It can amplify your mood

If you're sad and depressed.......

I've been there

Movies are my weed.

I can get in big legal trouble if I burn one.
