I totally checked out The Ninja. Which one would you be? The Ninja?? The guy with the passing resemblance to James Berardinelli???

That's Mr. Passing Resemblance to you, thank you very much. I like that you automatically managed to narrow the guesses down to the two nerdy kids. What, I don't strike you as a goofy looking jock? Oh, and what did you think? Don't spare the insults either; that one wasn't my idea.

I collect vinyl records and play the occasional round of golf.

Who would have thought that the most popular sport on Mr. Berardinelli's forums would be...golf.

Well, I don't know what the ninja actually looked like. How could I? It's a ninja!!! Other than that, my thought process was basically: Which one of these looks like he enjoys Andrei Tarkovsky?

Oh, and The Ninja was occasionally amusing in a so-bad-it's-good way. I think that was the point though. I also dug the random instances of some chick surfing the internet in the background.

Golf, Golf, Golf. I also love to deep sea fish and sail. Every winter, I love to snowboard. In college when Halo 2, came out, I got addicted to that for about a year...but sense then I've cut back on video games.

Major, I also play guitar (wish I had the time to take up piano, if that's something one can "take up") and am working on graduating with a CHEN as well as economics degrees.

Lastly, "No shit btw"..The other day I thought of an awesome idea for a movie that I've never seen done before. I'm doing research for it right now.

Finally, these aren't really hobbies but I am addicted to them and they would we alcohol and gambling (namely sports betting, blackjack, and POKER).

Aside from working, I follow baseball religiously (Go San Luis!) and travel whenever and wherever I can, money permitting. I also have been known to play a round of golf, but I think I wouldn't score very well in the first annual Reelviews Invitational, assuming there was such a thing.

You know what I mean - that's my major. But I think we can all agree, Engineering is a more intensive discipline compared to just about everything else. At least at my school it is. I'm also double majoring with music, so yeah...

For a second I thought darthyoshi's first sentence was meant as some sort of endearment towards majoraphasia for knowing what he was talking about. You know, "that's my major" as in, "I like you majoraphasia for knowing what I'm talking about." You know what? I'm going to pretend that that's exactly what was meant because it makes me laugh like a little school girl.

I like darthyoshi's response for a few reasons, not the least of which is how much a 30-year-old it makes me feel. To be, then, and only always becoming.

I'm sorry my post had that effect on you, majoraphasia, I didn't mean to... I was just using college lingo. I didn't even notice.

Back on topic though, I did the equivalent of an Iron Man in the last 36 hours. I'm kind of losing consciousness right now. Time for homework.

Dude...what poker do you play beef? Online, live? Tournaments, cash games?

There's a small casino abount 20 minutes away from here I go to once in a while. They have a $40 no-limit hold-em table I like to play. Not that I win or anything...I just like to play.

Poker is amazing. I love it. I used to play online quite a bit, but I just don't have the time anymore. I still play on weekends a good deal, and try to make it to casinos a few times a year. There aren't any within a few hours of me, so that's tough too.

Ram...

I'm a huge online sports bettor and as for poker I have accounts on fulltilt and pokerstars. I wish the U.S. laws would change on this sort of thing so it would be easier to put money in and get money out. I also look for cash games around my town, and I head to the casinos about 4 times a year (closest one is about 5 hrs away from me).

Well I write a lot (obviously). Besides screenplays and posts here, I do write occasional reviews and columns for various sites.

I also read frequently. I swim. I like to go out and party. When out partying I like to hit the dance floor.

I read voraciously, about 2-4 books a month on average. I do quite a few sports-- Bowling, golf, softball, racquetball, table tennis, darts, skiing, diving, ultimate frisbee...

My wife and I travel a lot, and we have lately been doing ecovolunteer projects as a way to travel and contribute to the betterment of the planet, as much as we can. We have done a snow leopard project in the Altai mountains in Siberia, a cheetah project in Namibia, a river otter project in Brazil, an elephant project in Kenya and a rhino project in Swaziland. Lack of a steady income has limited our travel lately, but we are going to Ukraine in May

I love to cook and pretty much prepare all of our meals.

Love to play games and we have a regular game evening with friends once a week. Those are deadly, as they often go until 4 or 5 in the morning. I also love Stratomatic baseball and play the online version at TSN as well as the occasional internet game with the CD ROM version. Used to play quite a bit of poker, but not lately. I also used to play chess quite regularly, and was pretty good, but haven't done that much anymore either. I also play computer games on occasion, and wish I had more time to play more.

I'm an avid sports fan and have many sleepless nights because of the time difference. I'm typing this at 5:10 am while watching the Final Four...

James was joking (probably) when he posted this a year ago, but a Reelviews Invitational Tournament is sounding like a better idea all the time. I'm completely astounded that so many forum members play the game.

Full disclosure, I'm a 27 HC, but last week shot an 87, my first round ever under 90, and somewhat of a fluke. It was one of those days where everything just came together. O happy day!

Yay,
My experience when breaking milestones was that the next round I'd walk out there and the course would bite back.
You've been warned - 100+ coming your way

I'm a writer, first and foremost. Currently working on a few projects, including but not limited to: a fantasy epic that is going to re-define modern fantasy, a coming-of-age stoner comedy screenplay a la Cheech and Chong if they were smarter, a catalogue of poems and short stories, and a blog about cannabis for the more intellectual smoker.

I'm also a musician. Well, sort of...I'm actually just a drummer. But I'm also learning to play the sax, and hopefully jazz flute. I'm in a quasi-band; currently it is just myself and my guitarist/songwriter. We're in need of a bassist. But I hope to find another drummer so I can focus on the horns and double as a percussionist.

I also have a green thumb; I'm quite the gardener. I specialize, though.

In college, though I'm considering taking a year off to join the Peace Corps and go to South America to both learn spanish and do good in the world.

Or I might flee to Hawaii so I can get healthcare and live in perfect weather year round. I DESPISE the cold... and love the beach.

*Shrug*

My life's an open book. And by that I mostly mean I'm indecisive
