The Official NFL Thread

I think I may have witnessed the worst quarter of football in NY Giants history, and I was at The Fumble game and Vikings playoff collapse. This one was right up there, though the season isn't over yet.

God, did it HAVE to be to the fucking Eagles again, though?

And I couldn't get enough of our Monday Night Football match. Last place says what?

Here's the weird thing. My 14 year old son said, with 8 mins remaining that the Eagles would score 3TDs and take it to overtime. I scoffed.

Niners closed out with a win. I guess I can't complain. Here's hoping Alex Smith mysteriously combusts and Vick smiles our way.

Absolutely would solve all of our problems. Also probably never happening :x but one can hold out hope.

Colts did what they needed to do (win 4 in a row) to get in the playoffs. I feel like we can still do some damage, even with most of our good players on IR. Bring on the Jets at home (again).

All Mangini had to do was go 1-3 or 2-2 in the last month and he busted. Hard. Methinks Holmgren fires him. Nots ure who the replacement will be but I;ve heard Morhninweg and John Fox and I'm not really sure what to think about either. Did Fox not have anything to work with in Carolina and has MM improved since his stint as HC in Detroit? No idea, but I do know that Hoklmgren should not go to the sidelines.

In previous years we have played the playoff prediction game

Simply call the 4 winner this weekend and you can score up to 4 points to carry forwards
and then next weekend we do the same
and so on until we have a winner

James has kindly offered to fly the winner to next years Superbowl
