I would take it but I already own it.

I don't own it, but I would want the fancier edition if I was to own it.

That version of the movie, for all those who haven't seen it, takes an already stellar film and catapults it into legend. There's no way to know, really, how incredibly great That Yellow Bastard is when there isn't over an hour of other movie in between the two parts. Excellent. Still, the best moment in the movie is unadulterated in the original theatrical version:

Quote:
Stuka: [after getting shot with an arrow] Hey... Will ya look at that? It's right through me. Guys, look. It's cut a hole right through me.
Schutz: There's something wrapped around it. Some kind of note.
Manute: Give it to me.
Stuka: Guys, this is starting to really hurt. Just look at it. It's poked a hole right through me. Guys?
Manute: [reading the note] McCarthy, you fool.
Stuka: Guys, don't you think maybe somebody oughta call a doctor for me or something? This isn't the kind of thing you just ignore, guys.
Manute: Out back. Everyone. Bring the women.
Stuka: Guys?

This is truly a weird and wonderful place. In what other movie forum would you practically have to beg people to take a free DVD? Kudos to oafolay for being the only interested party.

It's one of two things for most of the people that took a look at the thread and decided to go elsewhere. The first is that many many many of the people here already have the DVD in one form or another. The second is the understandable disbelief/distrust they have for such an offer. I don't take insult.

3rd thing - i dont have the dvd. i have a dvdrip sitting on my hard-disk. i just didn't want to trouble you with sending it half way across the world just so i can watch a movie. one that i have already seen.
