Boo to a dime-a-dozen superhero franchise suddenly superseding the most bankable Fantasy franchise of all time.

Post Episode VII to not have the 20th Century Fox fanfare music
Episode VII will be the first Star Wars film to not have the 20th Century Fox fanfare music. What do you think of this change? It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but we're all so used to hearing this iconic music whenever we watch a Star Wars film.

Then they'd better recompose the "Wish You Were On A Star"-based theme to be more in the key, tempo, and style of the 20th Century Fox theme, or I will be up a damn tree with my turd-flinging butthurt.

I just realized this a few days ago, and my day was ruined.

Disney was in negotiations with Fox to license the rights to the fanfare (no 20th Century Fox logo, though - just the audio). I guess that deal fell through, either because Fox wanted too much money or because they demanded that the logo accompany the movie.

It won't take long before a fan-made dub is available with the Fox logo + Opening of Episode VII is available.

YOu have also become accustomed to George Lucas being involved in Start Wars. That has changed as well.
I would hope that they have no begining logo at all.
Just Start "Star Wars" "Episode 7"

Actually you'd start with the "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." card first. THEN the Star Wars logo pulling back behind outer space. THEN the "Episode VII," its title, and the title crawl. THEN pan over to a spaceship as the theme music tapers off. :ugeek:
